How to read it
- Critical services are those whose discontinuation would seriously impede or prevent a critical function; essential services are the wider set the instructions define alongside them.
- Column 0005 carries a service identifier the institution assigns, which Z 08.02 to Z 08.05 all reuse.
- Provider and recipient are identified separately, and where the provider is a group entity its Z 01.01 code applies.
Where filings go wrong
- Services provided from outside the group are in scope: the test is what the function depends on, not who owns the provider.
